Comedy Nights at Maker's

Not the taproom — the big room. Go Laugh takes over Maker's 7,000 square foot event space: exposed brick, a real stage under a spotlight, string lights overhead, and beer brewed about fifty feet away. It's the closest thing to a true comedy-club night in Norfolk, with room for a crowd that came to laugh loud.

Open Mic Comedy Night

The last Tuesday of every month, Go Laugh takes over Duck Dive Tavern near the Oceanfront for a free open mic hosted by Jeremy Allen. New comics, seasoned comics, and first-timers who finally got talked into it — everybody gets a shot at the mic. And since it's Taco Tuesday, the kitchen's running $3 tacos and $3 Modelos all night. Grab a seat and watch Hampton Roads' next wave of funny figure it out in real time.
